Streisand now ranks as the top-selling female artist in U.S. history in the USA alone, according to RIAA shipments (outranked by Mariah Carey for actual sales). She is considered one of the most successful female entertainers in modern entertainment history and is the only woman in the top 10 biggest selling music artists in the U.S.
